Characteristics of the School-based Physical Education
Swimming Programme
It is introduced from Pr.3 to Pr.6 with a designated number of classes at each of the levels to promote students’ whole-person development and to ensure that they can enjoy a broad and balanced physical programme.
Online Learning
Online materials in different modes and from different sources are offered so that students can acquire more knowledge on how to improve their motor and sports skills in order to cultivate a self-directed learning habit.
Developing Students’ Potentials in Sports
Our school sports teams which include swimming, table tennis, badminton, fencing, dancing, track and field, girls’ basketball, boys’ soccer and boys’ rugby are to provide students an opportunity to pursue their passion for sports and enable students to reach their full potential as athletes.
In addition to the regular classes and school team trainings, sports demonstrations are organised in Physical Education lessons annually to widen students’ scope of learning.
Fitness Training Programme
Regular fitness training is integrated into the curriculum to improve students’ cardiorespiratory fitness and muscle strength and thus to increase their athletic performance.
